About Richard F Carter, MD

Richard F. Carter, MD, received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia in 1996. He received a Masters in Pharmacology and completed his medical training at VCU's Medical College of Virginia. After medical school, Dr. Carter stayed on to complete his residency in General Surgery at MCV.

Dr. Carter is married with three children. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as outdoor sports and recreation. He is welcoming new patients.
